How to Do an outside hook soccer move

The outside hook utilizes what is called the "dummy": feigning to go one way before going the other. This psychological compoment is extremely imperative for successfully bypassing your tight marker.

To do: Take the ball forward slowly and then at the last moment bring it away from your opponent using the outside of your preferred boot and race away in the opposite direction. It is a skill French winger Franck Ribéry has mastered to great effect on the club and international stage.
