Soccer players may be the focus of the action on the World Cup soccer field, but soccer referees are just as actively involved in the game. Without their raising of flags, the game would fall into anarchy.

This video gives you an encyclopedic understanding of what certain flag positions mean. This way, even if the soccer players are running a pass that's too quick for your eyes to gage, you can still look at the referee's movements to get what's happening.
